Playing Links Twice, with alternate tee boxes

Welcome to the first “revenge” tournament with Fox Hollow Men’s Club.  If you haven’t heard of a revenge tournament take a moment and do an internet search – and brace yourself before seeing the results.

David Luna & Co. will be setting us up some diabolical pin locations along with a few added obstacles on and or around the putting surface.

As it goes for format, we will be playing a 4 man SHAMBLE, but we will be recording the 2 best net scores instead of just 1.  There is a MAXIMUM putting limit of 4 from the putting surface (strokes with the putter from fairway, fringe, rough, etc do not count).  After the 4 stroke limit, player MUST PICK UP.  Record each players gross scores on scorecard, 2 lowest net for group will be used for scoring.

Pace of Play:  Do your best here.  While there is pro shop credit on the line, this event’s scores will not be entered into GHIN – so it doesn’t matter.  Use your judgement on speeding up if the group behind is constantly waiting.  For example, if your group is already in for 2 net pars, and you are putting for net bogey, record your most likely gross score and move on.  The real impact of slow play here is, delaying lunch.

We are set to play the Links 9 twice, from two different tee boxes.

Players will be flighted into two groups (Blue/White) & (White/Silver) You will play the back tee for your first 9 & the forward tee for your second 9.

52 players, 13 groups, each including a maintenance staff member. NO PAIRING REQUESTS

Cost: $25 to sign up, covers purse entry and *food afterwards*. Additionally, Green Fees will be $65 (cart included) paid to the pro shop day of.

*FOOD SET UP IN THE WEST DINING ROOM (IN FRONT OF THE BAR) AFTER GOLF! – SERVE YOURSELF: CHOICE OF ONE HOT DOG, OR ONE BRAT + SIDE OF TOTS + A NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE, YOU CAN PAY ANOTHER $3 DAY OF IF YOU WANT A BEER*.  Beverage Vouchers will be attached to everyone’s scorecards. Everyone needs to present their voucher to get their complimentary beverage

Spots are limited, so claim yours before it fills up!

Prizes/payouts:

•  2 flights only.  First place to each flight (net score) divided equally amongst group in pro shop credit.  Prize pool dependent on # of sign ups
• This event is NOT ELIGIBLE for the hole in one pot
• This event does not have skins
• This event does not have closest to the pin (CTP), and does not have Glory
